Fuel Pump

I've ready a few threads now about people having problems with the stock fuel pump failing, even on stock/lightly modded cars at low miles.

Do we have an upgrade option if our pump fails and we want to go to a higher volume, better performance pump?

I think I've heard of 2 people on there but I havent searched for this issue, but those may of been lsj engines. Not sure if they changed the fuel pump. You're under warranty so idk if its a bid deal until your out. Area47 I thought said the stock pump is pretty good, but he carried a spare with him...idk my coffee wore off im useless now :P

No, i'm not under warranty.

I'm looking at grabbing the stock pump, but need to do a data log to see about my high rpm misses.

Just read up on the dejon intake causing some crazy a/f, maybe that's my killer.

deff could be. Im still surprised no one has put on a air straightener to see if that helps. Ms3's intakes had those same issues until they put air straighteners in and make sure the maf was in a straight part of the intake.

My next problem is that if it is the intake, i need to find one that'll fit over the mouth of the upgraded turbo.

Pretty much any intake with a different sized coupler should work as long as the turbo is in the stock location.

It is.
I've been looking at Injen and AEM, but they seem to have something different than the normal elbow on theirs.
Definitely looking for a cold air intake, and not a short ram. Suggestions?
