Thumbs up Gas Pedal Vibration?

Hello everyone,

I have a 2009 CObalt SS and it is by far the best car I have owned. The handeling is unbelievable, the power is great, and the look is awesome.
More of a nit pick than anything else, but has anyone else notice that the gas pedal can vibrate a tad? Seems to be off and on, but most noticable on the highway.
I'm assuming the car is a drive by wire system, so it can't really be attributed to motor movement, so I am wondering if it is just a characteristic of the suspension and big rims.
Has anyone else expierenced this?

Thanks!

I haven't had that. Hmmmmmm

You are not getting any in the steering wheel?

Almost certainly if suspension or some movement like that were causing it you would feel it in the steering wheel also.

I have this too. I just keep telling myself that I spent just over $20K for the car and I should stop complaining. Haha

No steereing wheel is not moving at all. Only in the gas pedal.

Again, this is a minor nitpick. If I had to choose something that I felt was "off" in the car, this would be it.

Yeah mine does too. My steering wheel vibrates, my brakes squeal sometimes and my sunroof has an air leak. Waiting almost three weeks now for new sunroof is really starting to **** me off.

Under what conditions is it doing this? Vehicle speed, gear selection and engine RPM would be great.

I would say mostly noticable during highway driving. Maybe 2.5k rpms. 5th gear. Myabe around 60 + MPHs.

I think it is road related as some highways are worse than other which makes me think that perhaps the suspension setups just picks up road vibration.

I haven't looked yet but on my old car the little bump stops for the hood could be rotated counterclockwise or clockwise to bring them up or down. That way it puts a little pressure on the hood and stops it vibrating.
