ok i know we all know about hp tuners and know somewhat about the gm stage kit coming out but here is my problem. I plan on getting hahn's cat-back, piping, intake, and intercooler, but my question is would it be smarter to get a tune before the gm stage kit or after? or is it totally unnecissary to use hp tuners cuz the gm tune will wipe it out?

 

I'd get a tune after. You can still read and write after you have the stage tune as well with HP Tuners

 

ohhhhh wonderful.

 

Get the accessories after the kit install/tune.
That way you`ll know if there`s a change in performance.
If you get them first, the computer may cancel them out and how would you let it know that you have added them on ?

 

as it stands i'd rely on just the stage tune.

with the learn feature now enabled the car will make its own adjustments, however small they might be is unimportant rite now, and there are many, many, many tables that the stage tune changes that we don't have any access to.

you'd have to do a write entire every time to make sure you don't loose any of the un-seen values during tuning.

 

do it after you get the stage tune. after people get the stage tune and then tune it with hp tuners some people are putting down 395 wtq
