Yeah - its called NOT having 24 psi!
Of course its going to taper off.
If you can manage your launch without "comp mode", so much the better - you can get away better than using the stock assist, and (at least on my sedan), I have the best shift about 200 rpm below the limiter. The only thing I have done thus far is the GMS1 and intake, so I'm sure results may vary!

The little burnouts don't do anything for street tires. That's for race rubber. Street tires work best when cold.
I've noticed that in the higher RPMs my GMS1 car seems to flatten out severely. Nature of the beast I guess.

no kidding. you were beating him till the very end, but he didnt seem like as good of a driver as you,but he still should have beat you bad. isnt that Trifecta tune rated @ 300whp and 325wtq, and even more with a catless dp/ filter/ and exhaust..your at like 295whp and he should be around 330whp right?

imo i think it was a good race with the amount of boost he was running, i was on bald ass conti's, he was on some new bridgestones on msr's, im thinkin if i was shifting lower i may have had a better race as stated above( i brought it to 6500 in the vid). i was hp tuned be4 but the dealer was giving me a hard time everytime it was in, so i just grabbed the stg1.
heres a vid me on hp tuned against him, i won, both this an the above vid are both 1/4 miles

vince told him thos numbers as estmated, that last vid i was only 19psi lol, he says vince wont answer emails for a retune. but im happy with the results, just tryin to see where to improve. so are you guys sayin shift about 6300?
I found my GMS1 tune to be awesome, no complaints lol.
Ive handled many cars I SWEAR i should lose too...
Ive only raced my GMS1/Downpipe balt VS my friends bone stock. And mine poops on him...
Id love to race different aftermarket tunes sometime, or even go in a ride along with a balt at 24/25 PSI.
If its anything like its supposed to be, it should almost feel like going from stock to a tune...
Def a completely even race, FWD seem to be a drivers race alot of the time.

i thought guys say the power drops @ 6k with the gms1, so you would need to shift there...
if the GMS1 is that good with exhaust mods, then im def in.
i wonder if it would pull on a 350z HR or 370z?

I get a CEL, the one im supposed to get from being catless. Also have a muffler delete. Car runs perfect, though!
I'm GMS1 w/ muffler delete and I iced a modded 350Z no problem. No chance once I hit second. I don't know how modded but he obviously had exhaust. They are no competition for us unless boosted IMO.
hmm, well im just trying to get a better understanding of how our cars handle the power it puts down and what kinda cars it will beat with just a GMS1 and downpipe/muffler delete.
My old Acura cls-6 would beat 2003-2006 modded 350z's barely, but when a 2007-2008 stock one ran me, he won by a full car length between us. My Acura had 240-250whp and 210-220wtq and weighed 3300lbs and was 6spd. This car stock should be much quicker than my old car was, but unfortunately it is NOT

and my car was bone stock down to the filter (other then GMS1) at the time
