arent we supposed to be in 4th to be most efficiant because 0.89 is closest to 1.0 ratio?
3rd gear is like 1.28 or something

Results won't change much 3rd or 4th, neither is 1:1 and third is a lot easier on the clutch when the torque hits it's peak.

Not trying to thread jack. My 06 ss/sc got totaled from hail damage, so I bought a 10 ss/t. I haven't been on this site in a very long time, and don't know much about the lnf. The little research I did, it looks like the Trifeca tune is the way to go. I want to just do GMS1 for now, and then in the near future have Vince do the Trifeca tune for me. My question is if I buy the GMS1, will I have to buy something from Trifeca as well, or can he just use write over what I get in the GMS1?

Okay when I was first thinking about a tune, I wanted to go GMS1 then Trifecta. Then I learned of the sensor issues and it scared me away. Now there's a adapter that makes it plug and play.

Anyway, everyone was saying it's a waste of money to go GMS1 before Trifecta because Vince can work around it. Vince himself even said there's no benefit of getting GMS1 prior to Trifecta.

So basically, I don't know if you should get GMS1 or not anymore

I got GMS1 becuase I require warranty, I like that its a very similar tune to the stock one (which I was used too), and I wouldnt have to worry about funny things happen when its cold, etc.

My HP tuner guy said he might have to play/re tune it during winter.. which is a no no for me. To much pissing around.

Turbo swap day, il be ready :-) until then GMS1
