gms1 with hahn charge pipes???
gms1 with hahn charge pipes???
was going to put gms1 on and the bottom sensor will either come in contact with the cooling fan or the a/c cycle switch anyone have smiliar issue? was thinking of putting the stock lower pipe back on and see if that will work
Stock lower pipe is best. Plastic is a poor thermal conductor, and it makes a good material for charge piping, as long as it is not overly stressed. The only reason why replacing the top one is a good idea is because it flattens, though I would advise getting charge piping that uses the stock mounting point on the manifold to hold is stable. Hahn's hot side pipe does not do this, and is more prone to popping off or hitting the hood.
it wasnt the wires the connector it self if i faced it one way would hit the fan if i put in the correct way would hit the a/c cycle switch... i think a longer flex coupler on the pipe to the throttle body would have worked the stock pipe is about a 1 1/2 longer there... put the stock charge pipe on and clears just under the switch
