um..where did you get those prices from? that seems kinda high.

edit: ah the pig tail section is fairly expensive. Well theres a few places to buy them from so the cost could change.

ah yes, I love CED and tom, but there are other places to get them cheaper. But I purchased my full kit from CED.

You think it takes 20 minute to do it just try it. Took be 2 hours to do mine. The lower sensor is a PITA to get to.

someone made fun of me for taking 3 hours and being very picky/particular about my install. I dont do hack jobs...everyone who says they did it in 20-30 min is lying or did a **** job.

X2. I could have done it in approx 1 hour if I had to do it again but I made sure I triple checked my wiring and doing the splicing on the lower connector was a PITA becuse there is not much room to work.

I posted in that thread too NV, I took maybe 2 hrs total.
Twisted, soldered & heatshrink as well as a triplecheck of the wiring. Write entire of the toon took 25 mins I think.

No issues.

No hack jobs allowed in my garage or crimped buttsplices either.

see all the people that did it themselves and took 2+ hours dont have these @#$#$ issues everyone else has with cel's, boost etc.

4hrs to do mine because we lost a damn stock lower map sensor screw somewhere in the engine bay when removing them and still can't find it after ripping the whole damn front end apart, and triple checking everything. Western union spliced and soldered as well as heatshrinked. No problems so far. Its a blast to drive fo sho.

that always happens with these car..i drop something in the engine bay and find it half an hour later

I lost a socket one time. Boy did it come out when i was going 70mph. Sounded like the car was falling apart
