MAP sensors..one on top of manifold and one on lower charge pipe exiting IC. You need to re wire them to harness. Don't do it unless you know WTF you're doing. Trust me on this.
Don't bother unless you can flash it with GM tune.

The stock sensor on the intake manifold is a 3-wire MAP sensor. The stock sensor on the coldside pipe is a 4-wire TMAP sensor. The "T" is for "temperature" feedback. The GMS1 sensors are both 4-wire TMAP sensors, but the temperature feedback wire isn't used on the sensor in the intake manifold position.

I always thought the map sensors were on either side of the intercooler... thus the 2 temp readings on our cars... but i guess they must have a different temp sensor for pre intercooler IAT...

the 2 temp signals are coming from 2 very different places.

your iat1 signal is coming from your MAF sensor located in the fresh air inlet stream prior to the turbo (unless you have done a maf relocation of course), and your iat2 signal comes from your tmap sensor located in your cold side charge piping between your intercooler and throttle body. The second map sensor is located in/on your intake manifold which is solely a manifold pressure sensor
