I was looking for somewhere to post this, but just decided to start a thread to make it *easy* for those looking at catted DPs.
Very nice piece..fit perfectly. Sound is just what I wanted...a little more sound on acceleration but otherwise quiet. COLD start up, as expected, is louder but not bad at all.
As to performance...throttle response (spool up) is noticeably improved. I did a 60-100 *ricer test* (third gear 4000+ to 6000+ with stop watch in hand) and got NO improvement over stock! That did surprise me since car was already tuned HTP. I didn't go back and retune yet, but I don't think that's the reason. I know a catted pipe is only good for 10HP and that's going to be hard to measure using this method as opposed to a dyno or logging data.
Anyway I'm very pleased. I don't expect ANY codes to be thrown with this pipe...none have been reported to date as far as I know. Should I have any problems at all, I'll post it here.

I was thinking that the ECU may have to *get aquainted* with the new flow.
Just did another *ricer run* and looks like I did gain a couple tenths after driving the car more. The real benefit though seems to be the throttle response. I also spike 2 lbs higher, and it seems to only settle slighlty higher now.

Did you get the MODpipe, so you can swap out the cat for catless?

The MOD pipe is nice for swaps...I really didn't want to go catless, since the extra 5-8WHP is no biggie for me and I'd have no need. I wanted a subdued sound and no smell gas fumes.
DP has really *settled in* now. The car RIPS ASS even more in 1st and 2nd...quite a difference. If I don't feather it, the tires really light up . Stop light starts have now become launches with screaming rubber..kinda emabarassing to see the 
faces......
