Hahn charge pipe install

Hey I was actually installing my lower charge pipe in my car. What a pain that was.. any of you guys have problems with the GMS1 sensor almost pushing against the fan shroud ( I tried mounting the sensor the other way but hell no, it would be pressing up against the AC sensor.. no way that was gonna work. So my question is do they sell 90* GMS1 sensor at the dealership, because all I would need to do is replace actual sensor and re-plug the connector already installed.. so another question is did anyone else have this problem with lower charge pipe being super hard to install.

thanks in advance

My zzp pipe was a pain but I don't think my sensors were hitting anything.

You are aware that you have to shave off a protruding edge or *BOSS* on that sensor to fit? I assume that was already done when the GM1 was initially installed. See or download instructions from GMpartsdirect.

I had to cut part of the shroud so the pipe would fit, i cut maybe 2 pieces of shroud and the sensor sits in the shroud a little bit, but doesnt hit the fan.

The lower pipe is an easy install. You probably just have to adjust the couplers or something

hb ss/tc: you would think it would be easy as its just a pipe...but its pretty difficult

The GM dealer I went too charged me an extra 150.00 for the GMS1 senor because he had to wield on more metal and make an extra screw so that my sensor installs sideways so it will fit without rubbing anything.
