Hahn Downpipe to Stock Cat-Back?

Hey guys, just now started doing some work on my 2008 cobalt ss. I put a hahn cold air intake on it, and now I have a 3" Hahn catted downpipe Im wanting to put on before I go to get the car tuned by james (ccss3) Sunday.

My question is about the fitment of the 3" Hahn downpipe to the stock 2.5" cat-back. Will it bolt right up? Even if it does, will there be leaks because of the difference in size of the piping? If anybody has any idea, I'd really appreciate the advice because I was going to have the downpipe put on friday and then drive down to get the car tuned sunday and I'd like to know if its all going to work or not before I go spending all this money. Next spring summer I plan on doing Hahn or MPx cat-back exaust. Any and all advice is much appreciated, thanks.

all the downpipes bolt right up to the stock exhaust and you will have no problems with leaking
most lnf's don't even have full exhaust just the downpipe b/c its not that much of a gain and its cheaper to just get a straight pipe

Yes, the downpipe will bolt directly to the factory cat-back exhaust. You can get new gasket too if you want.

Sorry, havent been on much recently. Im going to be taking it to Cincy Speed. They are probably one of the best shops around. I got a buddy that works there also. They get alot of work with the newer camaros and mustangs.
