thanks man, at the hp I am at now, I dont see why this car wouldnt last forever. I am not even pushing the motor hard at 400whp (460 crank). With proper maintenance forever, I guess.

I feel the sleeves I have and the forged pistons with lsj crank and rods and arp head studs would allow for 500 whp reliably for 10's of thousands of miles

Occasional weekends to the drag strip. DD for everyday craps and giggles mostly. That is why the 20g is such a perfect turbo for most. There are other forums besides css.net, go read about the 20g, it does not disappoint.

I know about the Hahn S20G. Have many guys in my area running them and know of a Sky running it as well. Here is my issue with it. It has a slow spool and suffers from rebuilds almost every year(if used hard) due to seals. Seals are cheap($20) but rebuilding the turbo like that sucks, taking it out of the car etc. Its old technoloy. Its cheap for a reason(give or take situatio) I rather save and get an EFR. BTW just putting it out there you will not make 500whp with this turn, maybe crank but to the wheels. Little over 450whp can be had on alternate fuel like Ethanol.

In your case though a slower spool will spare the life of your trans so for you it works great.

Well I am going to be running it for a while. Love the thing. I agree I wont hit 500 on it but this is what I have for now and I will let you know how those rebuilds go but as for now its rebuilt by the PO and all is right in my world. The car is fast,

Hahaha they do market it as an "easily serviceable turbo". The turbo itself is pretty cheap, but once you get everything needed for a "bolt on" install, that's where the price becomes a little less competitive with stuff like the zfr or 2871.

hahns facebook page has a couple css.net trash talkers lately. guess they can hang with us here. Too sensitive. Anyway, there are a bunch of people ordering hahn turbo's lately. Glad to see the tried and true 20g still hanging around making big power.

Lol. All this small turbo talk.

Do this, get hahns kit. Send me your turbo. Ill get the same setup as mine using your turbo for about 800$ and the turbo will outflow all these. Also get a Mitsubishi td05/td06 elbow. Don't use the spacer.

Do you need to build your motor for something like that?

No, I know better than to just go in a straight line.

He has 30 psi by like 4300-4400.

You know as well as anyone else what a turbo that makes 400+hp at sub 4k rpms does

I would love a turbo that spools like stock and makes 500whp but that requires a built engine and transmission. It is not practical for most car owners let alone cobalt owners.

That turbo would be no fun for the street, youd have to break boost a 40 roll. lol. now for a drag car, a turbo like that would be nice.
