Head oil galley plug

What size is the oil galley plug on the head on drivers side?

And man I should fix that oil leak by the high pressure fuel pump that Gm obviously never fixed in any of the engines. Makes it messy

Hope you got the stainless steel one. The brass ones snap for like no reason lol.
My brass one snapped from vibrating on my LSJ.

Did you have one of the big sending units attached to it?

Yes. Electric Autometer 100psi sender.
Still, it snapped right off under the weight of autometers own sender. I was doing a burn out, my heart dropped when oil psi suddenly hit 0 lol.

I would definitely remote mount the sender.

I used the small one, but still ran a short AN line to it so there was no weight on the adapter.

IIRC after I installed the stainless steel galley adapter I made a little bracket to hold the sender against the block, almost like a sling for it. AN would have been a good idea, I didnt think of that.

To bad they don't ship to Canada. Read the reviews, one guy had that break on him as well. I just decided to do it a much better way, I have a oil pressure sender relocated to an aluminum manifold block, I'll just drill a hole in that and tap it and screw my sender in there, problem solved, no adapter needed.
