Did you have one of the big sending units attached to it?
Yes. Electric Autometer 100psi sender.
Still, it snapped right off under the weight of autometers own sender. I was doing a burn out, my heart dropped when oil psi suddenly hit 0 lol.

I bet that was a mess. mine is a temp sensor so not as heavy
I used the small one, but still ran a short AN line to it so there was no weight on the adapter.
IIRC after I installed the stainless steel galley adapter I made a little bracket to hold the sender against the block, almost like a sling for it. AN would have been a good idea, I didnt think of that.

Where can u even get an an to 12mm 1.75 fitting, I looked
To bad they don't ship to Canada. Read the reviews, one guy had that break on him as well. I just decided to do it a much better way, I have a oil pressure sender relocated to an aluminum manifold block, I'll just drill a hole in that and tap it and screw my sender in there, problem solved, no adapter needed.
Maybe u did that to brass one lol. Idk iv had a sender unit on a brass fitting in my oil block there for 5 years, it hasn't broke yet. Maybe u just had bad luck
