Head work.

Has anyone built a LNF head? or Ported one yet? Or does anyone plan on doing so in the future? Im assuming the LNF head flows similar numbers to the LSJ head, and if this is true, then the exhaust side is still pretty restrictive. It would be interesting to see what you can do with a ported LNF

yeah that and a ported throttle body is what i would like to see done........ the lsj's numbers on the ported throttle body is like 6 at the wheels. Im wondering if there is anyone willing to do this as a project to see how much is gained. If it's good gains i would def consider doing this.

hate to say it, but until the fuel problem is taken care of. there is no point in doing head work. the wall at 400hp is still going to be there

Do NOT change the throttlebody/intake bore in ANY way.
Backup fueling calc's (VE lbs/min in HPT) are based off the pressure drop measured across the T-map and MAP sensors.
It's done in a manner similar to a flow bench, IE pressure drop across a KNOWN orifice size.
Chop it up and you'll be replacing it.

i was more curious with what kind of numbers you can push out of the stock turbo after head porting.

BTW, can you explain the wall at 400whp to me? i know its there, but im not sure why...unless its just that no one has made larger fuel injectors that will work for the DI LNF?

the turbo's available will be able to outflow the amount of fuel available haha. and yes, there just aren't injectors big enough to supply fuel after 400hp.
