Yea I know srry I provided vague detail, im gonna go again today tho to get the exact code, prolly something to do also with my vacuum lines, my friend dicked around with those when he installed my BOV, could be because im running my blow off valve and my bypass at the same time also.

Probably a BPV code. Maybe the vacuum lines are hooked up wrong.

Alrite so the cel code was p2261

Googled and searched and found this thread and it explained everything to me,

http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?p=204342

"The ECM by comparing the measured MAF to the modeled MAF has detected a series of pulsations in the induction system that exceed a calibrated threshold.

--

Plain english: valve not opening when the solenoid commands hehe."

My question is,is it ok to drive around with the BOV and the bypass together? im getting a bypass plate soon to block it off just never got around to buying one.

At least part of your problem is the fact that you are running a BOV. These cars are equipped with mass air flow sensors. The only proper application for a BOV is on a car that is either speed density from the factory or tuned to be speed density.

What you are basically doing it venting air to the atmosphere that has already been measured by the PCM. So it thinks all that air is going to reach the engine, but its not. This can throw off the MAF, MAP, and O2 sensors.

Go back to the stock diverter setup and the problem should be eliminated.

hmm so you're saying even with a delete plate and a retune it can do long term damage? I got the BOV because I plan on upgrading the compressor wheel.
