Help cel code.p2187

Well I just bought a 08 SS/tc.the car is completely stock,I took it to pass emissions and it failed.the car has also been runnning like **** won't boost pass 6 psi.any one know what that code is thanks.

Well I do want to get a tune but I need to fix this first.Im going to try to clean the maf this weekend hopefully that's what it is.

Sounds like a vac leak. You didn't pass because you're running rich.

I bet you have a leak in the gasket between the turbo and the downpipe. Make sure all the hangers are connected to the exhaust and not putting pressure against the pipe with **** banging around down there. If that is good, get some power tools and take the downpipe off. If you notice a black mark across the gasket you have a leak. The same might showup on the pipe itself where the gasket should be. If it won't seal correctly, get a new gasket. Then reset the battery after doing the work. You should be good to roll.

It could be that something is blocking fuel in your tank. If you fill the tank on the slowest setting at the pump and it goes away, then something is in the way of the fuel pump. Dealership will have to clean that.

Clean the MAF. Good start.

Purge Selenoid? This is another issue that you might have.

It really is one of these four things.
