Help!! Losing Coolant

Sad news! after 5 years and 40,000 miles on my cobalt

I too had "Low coolant" displayed, refilled it and 30 mins later. it was low on coolant as well.

This isn't the first late-08 cracked block we've seen, but they are more rare than the early-09's.

Car companies only recall safety items, most of the time. It took Honda 7 years to finally admit that the Nighthawk Black Pearl and Fiji Blue Pearl paint was oxidizing and cracking. They still only paid for a partial re-paint and only 70% of that to boot.

I just found that problem(milky oil) last night on my 09 ss/tc and my car has 34xxx miles on it, still covered by the warranty?

Thanks for the quick response, I bought it September last year on a Chevy dealer with 21xxx miles on it, I have less than a year with the car and when I bought the salesguy told me that the car still have warranty
