hey guys just trying to see if anyone has had any issues with this code.
put a different stock turbo on the car and its starting to throw this code, when i had the same exact turbo on the car before it didn't throw the code. I did have a crack in my intercooler that i patched up, i don't have a boost leaker tester, but i felt underneath the car and couldn't feel any air.

the car idles and drives fine, but it just won't build much boost, 4 - 5 psi at max and its not constant either, sometimes it won't build anything past 0. I am wondering if the wiring just needs to be soldered or something, I think it may have gotten damaged idk. I just want to be able to build boost and get my car tuned lol

 

Did you have the intercooler welded or did you ghetto rig it with some JB weld?

 

i don't know exactly what how they did it, i may just throw on this other intercooler i have laying around on my car, it has a little oil in it, was on my car when the motor popped, may try to clean it out, but i know its not crack anywhere.

do you think a boost leak can cause this code???
before when i had a boost leak i could tell for sure and the car didn't throw this code

 

figured it out the wiring for the wastegate actuator was damaged, nothing a little solder didn't fix
now just need to change my plugs to pray that stops the car from blowing out spark
