Yes another one of those but a bit different this time. So my turbo needs replacing so I figure I'll do a bit of an upgrade. I don't have any power goals but just want to do a bit of an upgrade while I'm at it. Problem is I don't know if I can immediatly swap a turbo for a turbo or if I will need some sort of kit to make them work with my LNF. I read the FAQ about turbos in the forced induction forum but most information seems to be about adding a turbo to a non-turbo car. So any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well the bolt on turbos are as follows:
ZFR from ZZP. About 1800 bucks and direct bolt on. good for about 500 hp with E85 etc
BNR 2871, 1200 bucks from BNR Motorsports. Requires a core, so your broken turbo, and needs a BOV since it does not have a BPV. and will get to 400ish whp on E85
WR2 from Pwerks, 1800 bucks + core and is a direct bolt on. good for 400ish HP on E85 although nobody has pushed it yet. this is pwerks numbers
WR3 from Pwerks, 2000ish with core and direct bolt on. Good for 500+ WHP on E85 and does not require BOV
S20G from hahn. 1200 bucks no core required. Does require BOV and good for 400 WHP on E85. old turbo technology though.
LNF K04+. Upgraded wheel in the k04. good to about 350ish WHP on pump. probably 380ish on E85. 1100 bucks but requires working turbo. from pwerks

I personally have the ZFR from ZZP. You can search my post/builds and through my vids for reference. They're a lot of people actually running this kit right now and I recommend it.

no... 1900 + shipping taxes...lol i just got the turbo..manifold...wg..dp (im upgrading from the 5857)

Wait...or are you saying you had the kit already and you got just the turbo for 1900??
yeaa it was late ... i pieced together the treadstone kit ..was like 1300 + 1900 for the turbo (2300$ cdn after taxes shipping) srry for daaaa confusion
