Hypermilers also do dumb ass things like turning off there cars at red lights and coasting with the engine off. He removed is side view miors too. What a moron. I have a turbo and I am gonna use it. When I don't use it I get about 40 mpg on the high way so these hypermilers are idiots.

I like to get those seals for the headlight gap seals to prevent air from entering in. I know the Gen 1's have those. But, I don't know a place that might sale them.

i tried out hypermiling on my 2.2 got 6.2/100km ... not to shabby i didnt think at the time mind u taht was 1 tank of gas and it was HARD.... to not drive "normal"

Slightly off topic.... I've noticed by watching the instant readout that better mileage can be had by a lower gear and higher rpms sometimes.

For example at 50 on flat ground I get better mileage by just staying in 4th instead of 5th. It's all about the powerband. I used to think shifting sooner was better but not necessarily. It's how far you actually push the "go pedal" down. Same thing at like 37-40mph with 3rd and 4th. Plus you have more power available sooner, and your clutch will love you better for it.
