Here are my mods now what?

I got my Hahn CoolRam Intake installed, Injen CP, GMS1 and TWM STS. I'm thinking about doing a 3" dp so my exhaust would free up some air from being so compressed. Thinking about ZZP and do the spun metal or catted.

down pipe for sure. Then a intercooler maybe? I'm waiting to see just how good mpx's is. if you dont want to deal with a cel or you also have emissions tests get a high flow catted dp. If you plan on tuning w/ trif or hpt get a catless.

Yeah sounds like the next route, because I want to change out the dp one time and don't change it again, which is why I'll go with high cat. My buddy said with my mods, I need to do the exhaust next to avoid any issues because of the 2.5 exhaust. "Should have done the exhaust first," he said before the mods.

Go with a catless dp from zzp, by far the best in my opinion and then do a IC, I would wait untill mpx's comes out or zzp's both will be good im sure

There will be no "issues" that you will run into in the stock exhaust system with your list of mods. Unless you are running a larger turbo, the 2.5" exhaust flows plenty to support the stock turbo. The only stock exhaust component that does hinder your performance is the downpipe, mainly the 2 cats and pinched mid section.

OP: a dp is definitely a great addition to the car whether catted or not. You can't beat the sound of a catless dp though..

ya the stock exhaust isnt a big deal and it does not add power. If you have money later down the road to afford to change the sound of your car...then consider it

I just purchased a catted hahn dp as imo it had the best bung, angle and was the longest to keep cel's at zero to low occurrence. Yes it costs more, you do get what you pay for, but idk I havent heard bad things about zzp's catted one.

zzp's dp catted or catless has a angled o2, It doesnt throw a cel, I've had mine on for a month now and no cel whatsoever

So I would save my money and go with zzp's or ottp's before hahn's, hahn's dp is very good from what I've heard but too exspensive for what it is.

Ive heard of cel's from both being catless. It could throw it 1 mile into it or 20k down the road. Unless you are tuned and can turn it off, there is no guarantee. zzp's is angled but their bung isnt as long as hahn's from what I can tell in the pics. But I have not heard bad things of zzp's.

i like ottps and clear images or you can wait a few more weeks for the performance autowerks stuff. regardless most downpipes are exactly the same. my catless downpipe threw a cel after like 10k. usually they dont throw the for quite awhile.

CIA stainless catted DP for 9K and no CELS or problems whatsoever. Build quality is top notch too.

About the exhaust...I had the DP and Trifecta tune running at about 23PSI for a while, and then installed the Hahn exhaust and got retuned for it and there was DEFINITELY a difference between 3" and 2.5" exhaust once I got retuned...case in point...more airflow creates a better chance of gaining power. A 3" DP to 2.5" exhaust just doesn't seem logical to me. If you're going to do it right, then do 3" all the way back. Plus the Hahn exhaust has the nice low grumble to it...it's just a tad louder than stock at idle, but WOT it def. sounds great. And if you don't want to be "that guy"...then catted with the Hahn exhaust is perfect. If you want something louder then get a different exhaust, but I don't get why people say the exhaust doesn't do anything...there wouldn't be so many companies making them and people buying them if it didn't make a difference. My .02...

Clear Image Catless Downpipe, sounds AWESOME AND no cel's, running it for 5k...they're angled bung does the job right and build quality is awesome. Downpipe is a ten minute job, so I recommend catless and save the stock one, then come emissions time just pop the stock one back on.

summary: Catless downpipe FTW!

good to know that your "butt dyno" is more accurate than an actual dyno. I'll keep that in mind next time I need some true numbers

hahn catless dp for sure! sounds sexy and will get you better gains than an intercooler or catback.

u might also wanna look at doing hp or trifecta tune on top of the gms1.

HAHAHA farting is basically a passion to me...my wife is soo used to it that she doesn't even flinch when I do it anymore...unless it's at the dinner table or if it's silent and smells extremely bad! LOL

I like whoever brought up the part of keeping the stock and get the catless. Just don't know the easiest way to install it and what tools you need.

well the easiest way to install it is throw the car up on a lift and go to it. I'm not positive what size wrench you need, but an adjustable would probably work. lol. it would be tough, but probably doable. if you dont have access to a lift you could do it by jacking up your car, but that would be a lot harder. and getting a catless and keeping the stocker was what i did so i could have max performance and then pass emissions in another 4 years. its a ten minute job that gives you over 15hp.

15 mm deepwell socket and some long extensions and a swivel. 15 mins tops on ramps. Replace the turbo side gasket while you're at it and anti seize the threads for the changeback in a few years for the emissions test.
