hit a Rabbit, should i be worried

as the title says i hit a rabbit. it didnt seem like anything was wrong with my car at first until i got home. i looked at the front, no body damage but my lower grill was smashed in and broken so i pulled it off the car and on the lower part of my intercooler i see very distinct marks where the clips hit the intercooler and bent some of the coils. I drove a couple miles boosting as much as possible with no leaks but should i be worried that it could crack or leak eventually? i was doing 35-40

sucks to hear that. I hit a cat in my old 2.4 and it smashed thru the grille and poked a hole in my radiator. I guess the thing wasn't declawed.

I hit a raccoon and it destroyed my IC. I would do a boost leak test just to be sure before wasting any time straightening the fins.

Funny story, I hit a porcupine and caused about the same amount of damage. My cars fine though, other than a cracked bottom lip, and bent A/C condenser and heat exchanger.

Saw that one, Ronn. Sucks... OP, there's a chance you cracked the intercooler end tanks. Pull the condensation bar off the bottom. Search the board if you're not sure what I'm talking about. You'll have to pull the bumper cover off to make sure the end tanks aren't cracked. They will be harqd to spot so I suggest using a boost leak detector, or soapy water.

And don't forget to seal the IC holes after you pull the condensation bar!

the only thing you have to worry about is the little bunny coming back to haunt you and take your soul.

sucks to be you.
