Turbo Swap

Has anyone tried swapping the stock turbo with any of these:

http://cobalt.dejonpowerhouse.com/

Let me know how it went. I thought it was recommended that no higher than 23psi be ran into the LNF. Do these turbos really give 430hp, 375hp, and 450hp off of the crank of the LNF? If this is the case, then wouldn't this be one of the best upgrades out there for the SS/TC?

I haven't done it, but i've been considering it. I think i'd go with the ZZP kit before I went with those though.

I have the 5457 kit and I'm going to be putting it on the car later this week. If u want 400hp and want it cheap then this is the way to go.

Oh I completely agree that you should go with the ZZP turbo kit if u have $3000+ (depending on options). To me its overkill because I only want 400-425whp.It also helps that I got the dejon 5457 kit for $800

Those are nice numbers. Almost 500 out of a 4banger.

i got my dejon kit from a member on here that was desperate for money and needed to get rid of his kit. Thats how i got it for only $800. Like I said before tho. If you have over $3000 to spend go with the ZZP kit as it comes with everything you will need. My kit was only the turbo, adapters, and O2 housing.

You already know the answer to that: more power means less life for the drivetrain due to rigors from a buttload of torque.

i will agree and disagree with that. I believe a lot relies on the tune that you run and it's quality. But I will also agree with you in that all parts have its limitations.
