Has anyone done or thought about this?

When my cattless DP arrives im taking my 02 housing off the turbo and getting it honed to match the inside diameter of the 3" DP so i will be getting a little less then quarter of an inch honed out. factory sizing is 2.75" est. and i know the DP is 3" outside diameter so inside is about 2.90". I find it will better benifit with a 02 housing with same inside diameter as the dejon DP i ordered.

 

Actually i did eventually plan to have mine extrude honed

that wont make a difference the exit of the up pipe is to far away to make the motor care enough, what you really need to do is what i have done and port the inside bottom corner out. of course dont do everything i did it took me about a week to finish porting absolutely everything 8D

 

So i inspected the 02 housing and it is actualy roughly 3.5" so no modding needed.

 

good inspection but you missed out that its a peice of **** and has the worst ******* turn to make in the whole exhaust. need to take it off and port the floor at the upper corner.
