need yal's opinion!!

hey yal i was wondering if i could just get a few opinions on what i should do or how i am doing with this car...i have an 09 ss/tc coupe ,of course, in the past 2 weeks i have put on the injen charge piping and CAI (sounds phenominal btw), and today i put on the CIA catless downpipe...i took it for a drive and i must say i LOVEE this car..its my first sports car and i cant get enough of it...i've been dropping a little money on it only cuz im not taking summer classes...so i figure i got about 2 more months of modding before i have bills again...all i really want is something nice, fast and that sounds good...so far i have all three but am looking to unleash all this power yet be careful cuz i dont wanna screw my car up...i have the money for a spare ecu and tune and really want it...but my question is "is the tune and spare ecu really worth it, and if so how would you all go about doing it?"
Any and all opinions are welcome so let me hear what you have to think.

Superchips seems like a decent canned tune but it's a bit conservative for some (you do get to keep this tuner and receive updates). I've emailed Vince from Trifecta several times and he always responds very quickly. Best bang for buck and best customer service ^^ seems like the best bet.

i keep seeing that vince can work magic...but the fact of them sending me the programmer and somebody not being there worries me..i dont want something to go wrong and have my car stuck..i prob need to give vince a call so he can explain the whole process to me...im just trying to be careful i dont wanna mess up my baby !

I understand completely, and thats actually what our emailing was about. You would do whats called a street tune. He sends the programmer, you download it and drive with the programmer still hooked up, send him the logs via e-mail, he makes any adjustments that need be, he sends you any updates needed. Damn WV and nowhere to tune it!!

For sure, they made 301whp with a tune only. You've got some good bolt ons so I'd say definitely.

Well technically vince is there if you have issue while uploading the tune he can see your current tune and datalog at the same time and change anything that may have issues or make custom changes to what you would like the car to do, you get a lot for the money

I have the trifecta tune and have had it for about 4,000 miles 20 times down the track and many hard runs around the moutains where i live. Love it. Not one single problem to report back. I say go for it, Vince is the man and its the cheapest best tune you can get for the money. Don't waste your money on superchips or hahn or anything like that. Trifecta is the best bang for your buck. With his tune I went to the dyno and made 307 WHP/ 361WTQ with a Dejon SRI, and muffler delete.
