what is better for non hp shop tuners, basic or pro package?

with the pro you can datalog 5v sensors like a wideband and egt. you als get black box data logging. if you have any questions let me know as I stock both units.

how much is the vcm pro you stock?

you can data log on basic. but your laptop has to be plugged in. pro come with a box that logs and then you plug into your laptop to read the box. to each their own. basic works great plus the car has a factory wideband.

I have basic and its a pain. It can do the job but it would be so much easier to log the wideband with the proversion. It can be done with the basic package but you need to splice into another 5V sensor.

I would get the pro if you want to add MODS and other crap.. I haven't got the money for a tuner yet so instead of buying it for 600 I am waiting... Christmas present

this a lnf thread.... no splice needed. its a supported pid even on basic
