I can hear an obvious boost leak...
Can hear an obvious boost leak coming from my car. Had my buddy get beside me as I'd brake boost and he said it sounded like it was coming from the right in my lower cp area where it connects to the intercooler. I have verified that the clamp is tight and in front of the rib on the intercooler. I have smacked my mpx off of the ground a couple times but I sprayed some maf cleaner all across the bottom of the intercooler and it made no difference in the idle. Anything over 10psi and it sounds like a bottle rocket and is very loud. Question is...would this make that noise through my cai if my bpv was letting air past it? I mean, it is made out of rubber and it almost sounds like a balloon letting air out when you make it squeal by pulling away at the sides of it.
I will pull the BPV tomorrow and check it. If its not causing it then its gotta be my stock lower cp with a hole/tear in it or my intercooler. Whichever I can fix, my buddy still has my stock front mount and I have a hahn lower cp to still put on. Just really didn't wanna pull the bumper off if I didn't have to.
Any suggestions to this from people whom have had issues like this would be great.

So you have the stock coldside pipe still on? Either way check to make sure the clamp's tight at the throttlebody. Had something similar happen to me ad that was the culprit. Aside from that, check that pipe for small holes by the a/c condenser.

You have a cracked intercooler endtank on the coldside endtank. It will be on the face of the tank that faces the bumper. If you feel under there, you'll see it.

it made no differance in the idle becuase even at idle it would be pushing air OUT of the crack rather than sucking IN....ask me how i know (felt the air blowing out after i broke my stock IC) sounds like you cracked yours in the same place where everyone breaks their stocker. id say just weld it since it has the metal endtanks.

Be warned, anyone with the hotside hahn piping, watch out. The same bolt that rubs the hole in the cold side pipe, on the opposite side where the hotside pipe is, it along with the crossmember has the ability to rub a hole in your hahn hotside pipe. It has rubbed the paint completely off and where I have driven in rain, it has caused it to rust and wear much faster. I am most likely going to order the Injen hotside pipe as it does not have this issue where it takes the shortest route possible to the intercooler. It had foam up under it but rubbed right through. I ended up brake boosting in 1st up to 10psi as my buddy was standing outside the car. It was actually the hotside(now that I'd already replaced the coldside and inspected the intercooler).
