You guys are trying too damn hard. It's not about how hard you move the lever.

And as far as 2-3 shift, naturally it will be slower, because ur pushing, not pulling, as you do from 3-4. It takes more precision to make a 2-3 shift faster. Keep working on it, you'll get it.
i said shotgun and put it in quotes because a specific member on this site was posting how he NLS in a neighborhood and it sounded like a shotgun blast and he heard the cops coming so he though some1 called 911 and said some1 was shot. Thought it was a little exagurated. Im thinking I dont hear the pop as much because i have no muffler and my exhaust is loud as it is so i just might not hear a little pop out of a roaring exhaust

the only time i have had a problem with the NLS was when i was dicking around and i didnt have the gas to the floor. it revved up as i was dumping the clutch. it threw me in the seat pretty good lol. i felt like a ******* though.

i used to NLS the hell out of my old RX-7 when i was younger, so it wasnt really a big deal for me. im still nervous about doing it from 2nd to 3rd, but i haven't miss shifted it yet.

I did it like 2x months ago when my buddy was int he car and i tried the 2-3 NLS like for the past few weeks and I cannot get it for the life of me. I floor it up till 6 grand and while floored I mash the clutch and shift it like a maniac then release clutch and my car sneezes and i loose boost and then it just jerks a little when i let off clutch. Im afraid to keep doing this because it cannot be good for my car at all. But im determined to pull it off again. I know the 2-3 shift is kinda harder because you have to slide the shifter over then push up, not as easy as the 3-4. But do you think im taking it to the wrong RPM? should I shift sooner?

I just feel like its horrible for my car, if I was driving a honda I wouldnt mind revving it to redline becasue thats kinda what there made for, but the TC at redline screams and whines. kinda sounds a little supercharged but i think its just the engine working so freaking hard lol. anyways any tips would be appreciated.

EDIT: Yes its in comp mode but I think you can do it without it being in comp mode
dood........put it in comp mode everytime, it's better that way, u hit a corner outside of comp mode and overdo it the ESC kinda forced u to slow right down, the comp mode will allow you to hold a little more speed in any corner. I have done NLS outside comp mode but I still prefer to use comp mode each time. Here is how I enjoy doing an NLS for the most part and have found it very easy to learn. Get goin in 3rd gear and then slow down, downshift, WOT and NLS at redline. I've personally found that a few times when i try to NLS 1/2 a second too early it tripped my tranny light and it flashes at me but goes away within 30seconds. It's happened to me mostly 3rd-4th because seem to like jumping the 3rd-4th shift.
