I hate my SS/TC right now

So tonight is the first I took it to the track. 4200 miles on it. I take my first run, a not too bad for my first time EVER at a strip, 14.56 @ 100.40. So next run, my reaction time is wayyyyy better like .8 seconds better, and I launch better, and less wheel spin, and then as I shift into 2nd, bam, Check Engine Light, Engine Power Reduced.

This Happened one time before, The I/C pipind came loose and took some wires, same thing, it took like a whole sensor off.

I am really starting to debate whether I should have got that Evo I wanted. Needless to Say Im Pissed, and if I would owe less than what I could get it would be gone this week for an Evo.

Anyway, the Piping came loose like right in front of your face if you look at it, and took this wghole Gray Colored sensor with it, Any Help?

They already fixed it once under warranty, I dont need it happening every tim my boost needle hits 18. It sucks.

And if you can handle $530 a month its yours.

I mean I have had it 2 months, and this has happened twice, I was just about o buy the whole Synapse I/C setup, but now I don't even know if I want the car right now.

Yea, it's nice, and Hella Fun to drive, but this is ridiculous, I don't drive it that hard, and this crap breaks every 1000 miles. Plus winter in PA sucks, that's why I wanted to go AWD from the start, but it doesn't matter, I owe more than what I can get for it, so unless I win some kind of lottery or sell crack, I pretty much have it.

And on a side note, my first run I raced a VR6 and he had me off the line caus my reaction time was horrible, but I beat him by more than half a second.

Never owned a chevy before huh? Get it fixed under warrenty, then replace it when you have the funds for an upgrade

Only reason i have been able to mod my car Everytime something breaks I tell my fiance, I could replace it with the same part or just upgrade while I am at it

WTF! BATMAN!

Prime example why I do not rush off and buy first year production of a new car. Take it back in. Make sure theres no evidence of racing(burned rubber tire wheels, etc).

Yea, I'm a pretty bad driver, I have only been doing it for a living the past 18 months. Like I said it happened once before, and no problems on my first run. I know how to drive the damn car.

oh I dont know, it was grey and attatched right below where the intercooler pipe is flattened out. It had some copper metal wires in the spot where it broke off from.

The spot where the I'c Pipe connects to the intake manifold I believe it is, is obviously terrible at handling boost. I can pop it off with not much effort with my hands, and the little grey sensor or whatevr it is got completely busted off it's just there on th end of it's bundle of wires floatin in the bay. the pipe is held on by this little ass screw that you just pop it on and off, cheap ****.

I have this odd feeling that this is what he is talking about...
