I believ last time it was a different wire or sensor the Piping tripped, but this is still the second time this happened
OK, I don't care if it's common, I want to know if they will fix it under warranty? and the liklyhood of it happening again without the Synapse Piping?
And really, I NEED it FIXED TOMORROW, I work, and guess what No car = No work. I don't ant to call in a favor, especially when its money out of my pocket.

It's funny how eerily simlar our pictures look. I mean it looks like they broke in the EXACT SAME MANNER. Silly ****.
How long will it take to fix? and will it Happen Again?

Right, can they do it in like an hour or so? And Did it happen Again?
What is the purpose of this thing anyway, I know High Pressure Pump, but what exactly does it do?

its the connector for the high pressure pump (that controls pump pressure) that broke, basically the engine can't control fuel flow, the dealership can fix it if you go int
it broke because of the engine movement, not sure how they didn't catch it in development, but when you only have 20 vehicles and you need to represent thousands sometimes you miss things
the high pressure pump controls fuel flow to the rail/injectors, if it is off then everything is off

Thank You, so it's a relatively easy fiz for the Dealer? And maybe I should invest in better mounts? Or just never step on the gas LOL
I mean I really need it fixed like firat thing tomoorow when they open at 9 i believe, I will cause a ruckus if they don't cause I got one of only 3 TC's they sold, so they better treat me good.

They already fixed it once under warranty, I dont need it happening every tim my boost needle hits 18. It sucks.
And if you can handle $530 a month its yours.
I mean I have had it 2 months, and this has happened twice, I was just about o buy the whole Synapse I/C setup, but now I don't even know if I want the car right now.

i would. i love my balt. it may not be in the same league performance wise, but i wanted a coupe, and i like the way it looks. power and handling can be had. the evo cost's about $10k more than my car, and i guarantee you, for 10k my car will spank the snot out of an evo.
Seems they need some better charge piping if this keeps becoming and issue.
And if I hear one more person say they got a better reaction time so their time will be better I think I am going to shoot myself. R/T plays dick in ET if you are not doing brackets.

It's funny how people jump on the "POS Cobalt" train rather fast when there is a problem that has repeated itself.
There is ALWAYS going to be a problem with some cars because we own a high volume, "cookie cutter" car. Also, the T/C is technically a first year production car so there will be bugs that need to be ironed out.
To the O/P, just be patient and use your warranty to its extent. I guarantee that there are people with the new EVO that are having problems as well. I know it sucks that the car is not working properly. I had a first year car before and had problems with it as well, but the dealership was very good to get things fixed fast and properly for me.
Enjoy the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
