They weld everyday at muffler shops. Probably less than that. Punch a hole weld a bung... 10 minutes maybe 15. Do you have an O2 sensor with you?

PM Gestapo and ask what kind of problems he had when he had his rear O2 sensor just tied up under the car. I can't remember what issues it caused, but they might have been the same as yours.

I would do as suggested earlier in this thread: put the stock dp back on and see if the issue goes away.

thing is i changed the dp at a friends hour and half away from me and now im about half a hour out and dont want to drive all the way there and **** it up. My best bet is that its the o2 sensor since its truly the only thing that would i think cause this situation since its the only part that wasnt plugged back in or that was changed

I bought the ZZP catless DP without the second o2 bung in it. Then i got the wideband and had no choice but to get one put in. Any local shop can add one for you in a matter of 15 minutes. My cost was 20$ for one to get put in.

Maybe you can take it to a local shop and have them weld a bung in it. I am honestly surprised that ZZP sells a DP without an O2 bung. It's kind of a necissary item. They must have a good reason for it.
We offer the downpipe without secondary o2 for people who have their own tuning capabilities or a way to remove the codes.

Did you have the bung welded in or did you just reconnect it? You might need a defouler in the bung to take the O2 sensor out of the direct exhaust stream.
