IC piping question HELP plz!

IC piping question HELP plz!

I have the Dejon hot side IC piping, just installed it and made sure about 100 different ways that everything fits perfect and is in place well and all clamps nice and tight. when i am under WOT my boost psi is 12-13 and maybe peaks at 14 psi near redline compared to when i had the stock plastic crappy IC piping it would be at 16psi at least no problem. is it because of the bigger piping thats not crimped like the stock piping? i loosened and rechecked and re-tightened every clamp 4 different times to make sure i didnt have a boost leak. Any ideas why it runs around 3psi less with the ic piping? thanks!

Perfectly normal. The rubber sections would flex under pressure and now that you have them on with no tune your car will adjust to make the same amount of power. Get a tune and it will be great. Bolt-ons are only as good as the tune on this car.

Thank you guys so much i appreciate the help! i was worried to death that i installed wrong even though i rechecked a thousand times and i have decent mechanical abilities haha. I am actually getting a zzp catted downpipe on today (would go catless but its my daily and have to pass emissions =/) and trifecta 22psi tune this weekend =) Thank you for your help! i also see that you have eibach sportlines, im getting the same springs in a couple weeks. do you like them? and are they ok on stock struts?
