Could be worse, goes right OVER the turbo + manifold on my MR2. I agree though, I perfer the Dejon & Hahn routing.

The less volume of air the turbo has to move to hit top psi = less lag=faster sooner. So the routing is better for performance! The other routing is for pretty boys who like pretty things!

i bought the CIA piping which should be arriving in the nxt couple days. From what i hear and from what CIA says, they claim that theres is actualy better then hahns performance wise. I bought CIA's Performance Boost tubing which i think is a little shorter then there regular boost tubing.

small differences in length and angles of the tubes shouldnt make much of a difference at all, tube diameter should be consistent the inside should be smooth, that s important, i wish someone would make one out of some type of really strong plastic, this would keep much cooler

Yea, CIA claimed a 6WHP difference between their "performance piping" which takes the same route as Injen's according to that one low res picture and their "appearance piping" which takes the longer route Dejon's and Hahn's does.

The difference probably isn't a noticeable one (least by the seat of your pants) but it's there.

I'll be interested to see the price on Injen setup, I was set on Dejon's hotside piping just because of the price but if Injen can beat the price I'd go with them.

Don't really need to read up, I've owned (and own) a lot of force inducted cars.

6hp is within the margin of error, .... trust me in every car community I've been a part of be it Cobalt now, DSM, MR2 or whatever charge pipe lengeth, diameter (and many other factors) always comes up. The end result is always that its +/- a few % and hard to call outside of a margin of error.

I didn't call the routing crap! I just like to have unobstructed access to the valve cover is all.

Buy whatcha like, because it all gets the job done pretty much the same. I happen to be able to make my own charge pipes, so I do.

It makes a bigger difference than one might think.

heres a question, how can Injen claim an extra 15 hp? Unless it's tuned it technically won't add anything. Unless they're talking about an extra 15hp in the power curve............?

Yea, usually when they make these claims it's however many extra HP somewhere in the curve but maybe only a few extra peak HP. I could see it providing some extra HP way down low in the curve or something but I doubt it has much of an effect on peak HP.

umm you barley gain anything at all with charge pipes on these cars. Its pretty much a cosmetic pipe on this car unless your making huge power. Just like the catback exhausts for these cars....big money for not much gain. about 5hp.

Well you guys can bitch about what ever. I have always liked Injen Technologies. There intakes never gave any cells on any of the SS/SC cars. So that must say something.

Injen has been working on this WAY before CIA. Also Injen is a very large company, they would not "copy" a smaller company like CIA.

Also this is ONLY the top charge tube! It does not include the lower/cold side charge tube, they are not offering one, from what we have heard!

If anyone is interested, as always PM us, we will get you the best price out there
