installing MPX catless downpipe, NEED HELP

im trying to figure out if i can reuse the exaust gaskets from the stock exaust,

I dont wanna pull this crap off again.

So has anyone reused it with out any problems

i reused the top one because i couldnt even take it off haha. but i put a new one on the bottom. if it looks good i dont see a problem with reusing it.

i reused mine, but i only had 4k miles on my car when i did, im sure it will be fine just be careful when taking it apart and what not, if u dont feel comfortable reusing it, just buy a new one and install it lol

I have 20k right now, I guess i can just put it on and see if it leaks, hell if it does ill just take it to a shop any pay 25 bucks to use there lift

The stock gaskets are metal and should be re-usable if not damaged. Doing the DP on the ground is not a big deal anyway.

haha ya it is, only prob i had was the damn bolt on top of the triangle were it connects to the catback, had to undo a hangar to lower it enough to get to it, i did my whole dp install in like 30 min with a lift and power tools

first time took me maybe a hour total with jack stands. hardest thing was getting the o2 sensor off. took me like 10 mins that thing was on there haha.

haha ya mine was easy to un screw but trying to get it off the dp with it still on the car was a whole nother story haha(i wasnt too bright when i did it, should have took the dp off first :p)

Never had too much problem with O2 sensors, spray the joint with PB Blaster or similar penetrating oil (not WD-40, nowhere near good enough), and try to use a good flare wrench to take it out. Also, try with the exhaust slightly warm if you are still having problems.

I reused mine...twice...with zero issues (Once when I put my ZZP on, then again when I put my stocker back on many miles later). I probably would have reused them again if my BadMab hadn't come with new gaskets.

Had about 9000 miles on mine when I swapped DP's and I used the stock gasket too. There is a little tiny leak, but nothing that I am going to pull the DP back off for..
