Installing my Water/Meth injection

So I got my kit the other day from my local performance shop. Its the AEM universal Kit due to there only being Kits for the Supercharged. I'm not able post a how to because I am very impatient and had to start it during the week. So what would be a 1 day install is turning into a 5 day kind of thing.
There is not many places to mount the 2 quart tank and pump, and that is a gravity fed pump so you need to either mount it level with the bottom of the tank or lower. The only place on the car to do this (without mounting in the trunk and using another pump to push the mixture to the front) is right under the passenger headlight. more than enough room. I just wish we had room under the hood like the SC guys do. Anyways....I had to remove the lights, bumber cover (pain in the ass!!!), lower charge piping (to tap for the nozzle)... I mounted the control nozzle on top of the fuse box (for easy adjustment).... spliced the boost tube into vacume that come out right on top of the intake. Ran my arm switch and LED indicator....thats it....still have to finish the wirring and run the tube from the pump to the spray nozzle, and put everything back on my car....lol

Its a good location.....Hidden and no one will ever see that your running water/meth....I'll update every day untill complete...

Why not just use the washer fluid resevoir? Is that considered too ghetto?

Install is finished

Yes, finally finished. but........I went for a test drive felt a major difference and ripped my fender well out!!! lol....I need to find another one or order one or something because without that my pump and tank are exposed. System works well though. I just need to get under there again and finish hiding the wires.

I do need to drain the tank and heat a section of it to mold it. The fog light is right on it and its causing my bumber to stick out a little . easy fix though.

Very very noticable power gain. I'm using a nozzle rated for 250 - 400 HP. So I imagine I should be getting an added 30, maybe 40 HP at the crank. From what I hear from other peeps around here and from what AEM said it usually adds to a boosted 4 banger. we will see.....Doing a couple dyno runs on the 20th......do a tune and then another run.

Next I plan to install the HAHN charge piping.

Awesome! Did you see your boost jump up a little bit?

And I would love to see the dyno before & after this water/meth injection. I know they really help out our cars, but I just want to see how much! I believe you will be making close to 350whp when you dyno with the tune & this! Congrats!

If thats true then I will be able to hit my goal of a mid 12.XX time slip on a reliable daily driver with just one mod plus tuning. I wish it was that easy but I just don't see that happening. If it does however, I will be happy to eat my own words as I install my own water/meth injection and consider myself done with performance mods!

lol, you aren't going to get 30-40hp at the crank with meth. You aren't going to see any gain without tuning. All that is in your head. Go get tuned for it. You are probably running rich as hell.

I actually notice a little bit more throttle....but not much! I am going to wait till I get my hard charge piping, downpipe, cat, and possibly a cai that I designed for a ram air install on my car......then I will get a tune.

but the AEM and my performance shop stickers under the hood did add 10 HP, lol
