Intake now, or wait for Clear Image?
you guys are reading way too much into this intake thing.... its a piece of 3 in. tubing going from your turbo to a filter... your dumb as **** if you think any single one will give you noticable power gains over the other... and as far as problems with the intakes, judging by the responses in this thread, i would say operator error on 95% of all intake problems!!!!!
CIA makes good stuff, but saying that there 3 in tube is better then hahns 3 in tube is a crock of ****, i have seen pics of the cia "intake" and i hope its not the one they will be selling, it looks like they just cut a hole to mount the MAF... Im going with dejon just because its the cheapest and best looking in my opinion... but back to all you Interceptor tooners who know better

I don't give a rat's ass about power gains. But if the gains I am getting are going to cause reliability problems, I don't want em. If I have to give up 2 hp to get a more reliable intake, I'll give it up. Saying a tube is a tube is false. The location of the MAF needs to be precise, and from the looks of it, CIA is researching the best location to put it. So, if I made an intake, and put the MAF 1/2" away from the filter, and priced it for $50 you would buy it huh? Since a tube is a tube, why not huh? Well, when you do that, come back and tell me how it works for ya. Until then, I'll stick with rooting for R&D to further the development of our cars, and i will promote new products.

Sweet! I do love me some DIY projects, and it sounds like you are doing it right. I wouldn't mind scoring some Ti tubing and fabbing my own up, lol. Nothing like a $500 intake.
Oh no, I am testing it for a vendor!
But I will get full tests for them! So all the number nutswingers on this site will have them
Dyno runs: Stock OE filter, K&N drop in, and the intake!
Maf pounds per minute, on all three! And power numbers for each!
