Intakes on these cars are about as useful as stickers.

Get the tune

Unless your tuned the car will de-tune itself w/ the intake. Intakes once tuned do make power increase, but alot of issues have come from intakes themselves right now. I'm back to factory box because I forgot to check my dejon intake pipe after I installed ottp s1 mounts which rotate the engine forward, the pipe was rubbing excessively (no issues w/ leaks that I noticed, the car ran fine with it)..but the pipe is nearly rubbed through now

So I'm waiting to see if GM will release its performance kit which has a different air intake setup.

If you call adding almost 20 whp in the top end useless. That is how much my car gained. The stock intake is more restrictive than the stock DP and Catback. DP added far less power to my car than the intake even catless it added only 8-10 whp up top. Intake is one of the best mods you can do other than tune and ported stock head. Intake ports flow like crap on this head way worse than a stock LSJ head. ZZP got 36 whp and 45 wrtq gains from their ported head. How does 400 wtrq on the stock turbo sound? The stock clutch cannot take it though.

You dont realize how restrictive the stock intake is once you are tuned do you? I bet my car would make only 315 whp with the stock airbox compared to what it makes currently. In fact I can almost guarantee it.

Intake I have heard issues with.... a tune no.

Plus most tunes don't change sensors... Minus the GMS1 tune, but they are in the same locations just a 3bar instead of a 2bar

Those codes from the Hahn intake are pretty common...
