Intercooler Damage - Pics - What are my options??

Thank you in advance, I went through a puddle last night and ended up damaging my intercooler. The metal broke on the passenger side where there is a screw holding this "drip tray" looking part that runs along the bottom of the intercooler. There are no cracks that I can see in the side tanks, it seems that the only break is on the piece of metal where it attaches to the main core of the intercooler. I have thrown no codes, seem to still hold boost although I haven't pushed it to find out.

No reason to replace the stock intercooler unless it's broken. It works awesome and is perfectly paired on the stock turbo.

From what I remember reading I'm pretty sure you're fine if that's the extent of the damage. If you're worried I have a stocker or get a ZZP

I just went and bought some JB weld, it looks like I should be able to just epoxy it. I was worried I broke the plastic tank too, but it doesn't seem to have cracked it. Hopefully, this will fix it. Thank you for the help!

Could you not just duct tape it(no foreign material entering system) and drive home in limp mode? It wouldn't make the car un-driveable would it?

You need a new one. It's punctured/torn. It might just be the "drip tray" but how do you think the oil - mist from the pcv gets in there?

Omiotek is crazy. Get zzps broken or not. The condensor is for water or oil. U can take it off and plug it underneath each mounting point.

You have 2 options. Take the condenser off the bottom. Believe it's a screw on both ends. You will then need to plug the hole left on each end.

Or option 2. Get an aftermarket intercooler.

Plug it if your on a budget. It is not a priority to replace a working unit unless you have cash sitting wanting to be spent/mod bug.

Then you have a boost leak from the little brass holes.
