He's talking primarily about retrofitting an older Saab trans with the Quaife LSD available for the Cobalt SS. Cool.
Mentions of a crush sleeve failure on high-output Saabs. New design sleeve has been in use since '03. Mentions some modifications to the countershaft bearing support bracket bolt which appearently comes loose. Also cool.
Now.. lets get to the part where he talks about not running too much clutch for your output to reduce shock loads on the driveline.
This I very much agree with. This is why I think some people may see more cases of breakage of internal trans components with the popularity of ceramic puck style clutches. Its why I chose a segmented kevlar disc instead of a ceramic puck clutch. For my power and driving needs, a ceramic clutch would be complete overkill on the driveline. I'd rather be replacing a clutch than the transmission. Much cheaper to do.

they discuss final drive, bearing preload and tolerances....which are the key changes to the zzp stg2 trans if im not mistaken. what i was kinda hoping was to spark discussion on what trans mods are needed/would help made the transmission last or hold up to (however you wanna word it) the extra power that is being made on the lnf nowdays
