Invitation (GMTech, CCSS3, Term)
Like I said in the other thread I am very interested in coming out for the day.
I am interested in buying a few parts. However it if is a nice day I won't drive my cobalt.
But I would be happy to put that car on the dyno and set some of the lowest numbers of the day.

Some of you probably saw my other thread about possibly putting together a mod/dyno day at our shop this spring. What we would do is offer discounts on parts as well as assistance of basic mods. Dyno pulls would also be discounted. As typical at mod days, there would be plenty of customers with tools and willingness to help install parts as well. We also want to put together an LNF tuning discussion involving ecm file modifications via hp tuners. We can use this opportunity to explain how we set up our ecm files and why we make the adjustments that we do. This idea came out of the dyno challenge idea that we threw around a couple weeks ago. "Frogstofall" (Antone) agreed to help set something up. Now I am hoping that we can get more people involved. There are a few people in particular that have taken a stance that ZZP is bad for the community(more or less). However, they have never met with zzp or had enough involvement with us to make that determination without a certain amount of speculation involved. For this reason, we would like to extend an invitation out to these people to participate in this event. John (GMTech), James (CCSS3), and Dave (Term)- We would like to have you guys come out to our shop to meet us, see our facility, and participate in the event. Let me know if you are interested and what(and when) it would take to get you here. If we set this up right, I think we can have a serious turn-out. It could turn into a great experience for the entire community.
ZZP and all these other tuners should be united and just help each other out. That's the only way we can go forward. Egos just placed on the side....will be awesome!
Im fairly new in this forum....and I already observed the hostility between ZZP and the rest of the tuners. It's too bad since you guys all seem to know what you guys are doing. Each tuner has their own specialty.......and is very vital for this community.
The only problem that I see on this is....no all of these knowledgeable tuners might be:
- available time/schedule
- far from the event
- work
- extra financial money to spend for a plane ticket
- etc
This will be like an "all-star" event. And if the community will come to learn from these tuners, and meet them in person...............members who have some spare $$$ should at least help out and contribute to pay to fly tuners that will be flying from the west coast/east coast.....wherever. I may not be able to go but I'm willing to contribute some of my weekly lunch money.
And I truly believe that meeting in person will make such a good difference. Most of these tuners including zzp ...I communicate on a weekly/monthly basis....and they all seem to be very good people. Typing on post can mean so many things...which leads to miscommunication of people. Talking face to face...will definitely be so much better!

And this will definitely avoid any dramas and bickering on this forum
That's all.
This sounds awesome. If there was ever a time to drive up that way. I think this is the event Id do it for. I have a BYT tune. So you can throw me in for a dyno match if the price is right, lol. only prob is I think I really need a new clutch
You wont see any decent torque numbers because I cant hold the load before 3000rpms... If this is an HP war than that doesnt matter

I need to finish school. At my rate, I won't graduate this decade. 1-2 classes fall and spring isn't exactly the fast track.
But your cars pretty sick it looks like you're loaded lol
Sorry, didn't mean to leave out other tuners. I just mentioned the ones who don't like us since they might not feel welcome otherwise. BYT, Area, MDub, Iambroke, etc... are all invited as well.
By the way- this isn't a tuner war. It is meant to be a friendly gathering.

I would love to see this happen at the shop. There is always something new to learn regardless of how good someone is or thinks they are.
We had a negative vibe toward us from many at the first CED that we attended. We weren't sure how it was going to turn out for us. Matt and I decided that we needed to go down to CED and meet the people that were the most against ZZP. It was the best decision we could have made. It showed people that ZZP wasn't an arrogant group of guys and that we do know what we are doing. It also showed people that we took the same strong interest in the community that they did and that we weren't just producing parts to make a dollar. ZZP walked away from that first CED with not only a lot of changed opinions on are end as well as others it also helped establish some good relationships in the community that should last along time. I feel strongly that this event Matt is trying to put together would do more of the same and be great for all. This isn't a who's dick is bigger contest, it's a way to squash beefs and have great minds thinking together.
