jolt still there between 1st and 2nd gears

jolt still there between 1st and 2nd gears

I had the stage 1 ottp mount put in and i questioned the install (motor mount never loosened and figured drivetrain was tweaked). there an alarming jolt/bracing of drivetrain between gears, mostly 1 and 2. with it easing off with gentle shifting.... anyhow i loosened motor mount and rocked engine and retightened as recommended. jolt is still kinda there but has improved slightly.

does anyone else notice this with either stage 1 or stage 2 rotated mounts for balt sstc? i cant imagine its an install issue since i did the motor mount thing..... maybe just 'the way it is?' maybe it will disappear with addition of stage 2 mount.... thanx

It will get stiffer with the stage 2 mount, therefore you will notice it more until you perfect your shifting.

Like I posted before, it's the nature of the beast. Stiffer mounts means more noticeable driveline shock. No cushy mounts to absorb it.

As you know, I have same set up. No problems at all. Rarely, If I'm in neutral at a stop and want to shift back into 1st, it sometimes *balks* going into first gear and I have to shift back into 2nd then 1st. I don't understand this *jolt* thing you're getting though??
