JRE tuned LNF with HPtuners

Just got off the dyno, Pretty impressive that you can get 50 hp and 60 lb torque with just a tune

final results were 290 WHP and 312 WTQ

NO, it is Dead on, this is what these motors want with the Direct injection, the beautiful part is what ever I command it achieves, exactly, these cars use Wide Band O2 Technology.

Any richer and they lose power and blacken the back of the car, DI is a completely different animal.

Still pretty conservative, there was still Zero Knock activity

Yea, that's what I thought... But just wanted to make sure. It seems like a tune, will give you the most bang-for-your-buck. (Besides from like a turbo swap).

50 HP, & 60 lb-ft of Torque is impressive.

Yeah, my brother is picking up an 09 in a week or so and I told him to screw doing anything else and just get a tune. He'd be set for quite some time. Well, that and the fact that he's 30 and doesn't like dicking around w/ a car under warranty...

Early this year this car came in for a baseline stock then the customer installed 2500.00 worth of Cold air kit, Front mount intercooler and hard pipes, and a Turbo back exhaust and only gained 3 HP, the computer really does a good job of achieving commanded power.

Needless to say he was very disappointed, since the Vendor whom will remain nameless made all kinds of power claims with the bolt ons.

Now we are just up against the limit of the factory turbo size for Power.

We will have a crack at it with at 3071R someday, but these Blocks are limited to about 325-340 whp so Buyer beware.

Our 3071R Sleeved Cobalt SS/SC TC conversion made 390 WHP 395 TQ with the factory cat and 2.5 exhaust.

Say this cusotmer had all of those mods, AND a tune, than tell me, how much would he have gained, from those mods alone.

Eventually nothing.

The car would have detuned itself to make 260wtq no matter what.

I heard over on the Solstice forums that they are breaking them above 350 whp.

There are guys making around 400 whp but not for long
