You know something, I now have clairvoyance to understand all things ecotec with your post.
Unreal, I simply made a comment that was contrary to the beliefs of someone else and you get all butt hurt over it...

Not butt hurt at all.

Why don't you go to every LSJ Perf Tech thread and post the same thing.

No **** would have been a better response to your, ever so awesome, blatantly stating the obvious post.

Like someone would have came in, read that and benn all:

OH ****! BETTER NOT TURBO MY LSJ

Yeah, I don't see what you are getting at...

By the time you factor in the headache of dealing with turbocharging that car and the costs associated with it...you might as well buy the new SS/TC...

Tell me how your original post added ANYTHING...ANYTHING that wasn't already known amongst the people with a I.Q. higher than 3?

Everyone knows that a brand new car has a warranty, and really how can we base any stock for stock reliable comparisons when the LNF has only been used since 07?

And if you look up a few things here and there you will find that the LNF had huge knocking and misfiring issues with the 07s.

I realize I made a pretty obvious statement, but then again I am talking to people dumping tons of money into FWD. My post was just simply trying to bring up a point that I don't see brought up all that often among the FWD tuners...

I mean Christ, there was some guy with an 08 LS that wanted to turbo it and thought he could do it cheaper than buying the SS/TC...so I fully realize that not everyone on here has an IQ above 3.

What does it cost to Turbo an LSJ, $3k, $4k, $5k ?

Then add in axles and other necessary upgrades and the cost/benefit of taking that car so far out of the stock realm is lost...

Which have been absent from my car w/ 5k mi on it so far. The 07s had a problem with the spark plug choice causing the misfires that has since been taken care of.

gettinausernamesucks and I have both been noticing misfiring recently while logging our cars. Minor misfires at low RPM, but they are there. Im going to take mine in soon to have it checked. gettinausernamesucks re-gapped his plugs to .32 and it seems to far that the misfires went away on his. No knocking/knock retard though.

Just a FYI.

I dont know about his, but I can feel mine - a slight judder, if you have ever had misfires you know what it feels like. When it happens I see a few misfires registered on the gauges, mostly in cyl 1, but occasionally other cylinders. It seems rather random too - doesnt happen all the time.

Get hptuners suite and do it your self, its really not that hard. A simply multiplication of some numbers and you're set with more boost.

Hey Guys, Im in Eastern PA, like 90 minutes from NY and Philly, I really want to tune my car like this, but I don't know any good shops whithin 2 hours that deal with Balts, any help?

Basically, I like the stock parts except for the intercooler pipes and exhaust, which I like the exhaust, but it could be a little bigger, I just want a tune first, to get it done.

You just need to acccept that some guys are just palin stupid and will throw outrageous amouts of money at their cars. For them, there is no hope.
