Just bought hp tuners!
Hey everyone.
I just ordered hp tuners and I'm wondering how hard it is to tune the lnf. I'm not the smartest when it comes to this stuff but I comprehend a bit of it. The main reason I bought it was due to the fact that I need help diagnosing what's wrong with my car. Once I get it figured out, I want to get term to tune my car. I also wanna be able to keep a check on things and see what my car is doing.

I've got an instructional DVD that I could probably make a copy of for you. It's gonna cost you though.

Honestly, just buy it as soon as you can. I put it off for a long time because I didn't feel like I was "ready" or "knowledgeable" enough.
The tuning guides help a LOT. I would start with just the MAF Tuning one, once you are able to get that inline the car will be a LOT easier to tune properly. This car is extremely sensitive to the MAF trims and you can run a much more aggressive tune with those dialed in. Im sure my fellow HP Tuners will agree there
That MAF Tuning guide is from quite a few people's work and a lot of time invested in figuring out the best methods.
If you nail that, move onto some power. Start small and work your way up. IE: Raise the boost, flatten the PE curve to .88 and start there. Then work on timing or invest in the T2 tune to cut right to the chase
LOL!
If you decide to go it alone, everyone is usually more then willing to point you in the right direction on HP Forums. You should join up anyway now that you have zee stuff!
