Just bought used cobalt sstc
Sounds like the OTTP Stage 1 mount. Stage 2 is front and rear mounts. They are stiffer than stock. How about the upper mount on the passenger side under the air box? Might be a shiny TurboTech racing mount.
yup
Yes sir good call on ottp. Checked em out, looks like the mount that is on my ride. But man, the black rubber that covers the metal that holds the center piece where bolt goes through.....that metal looks to be a spoke like design, hope that doesn't break cuz I wanna get a tune on top of my gm tune. But I don't have many bolt ons so I figure my wheel hp won't be above 300. Prob won't need that stage 2 upgrade.. Idk
Thank u , oh to answer past ? - checked out upper motor motor mount... The mount looks consistent with bracket so I think its prob oem. How many motor mounts on this balt, saw 1 so far.. Is it beneficial for a stiffener and hardened motor mounts. The tranny mount seems stiff as it is.
Front tranny mount - Stage 1 OTTP good for </=300 hp, Front & rear Stage 2 > 300 hp. (What I have)
Topside passenger sub frame mount makes 3 total, The OEM one is fine there with the other one or two. Some replace it with a hardened one also but I really think it's not needed. THe OTTP S2 keeps everything in place well.
