Just programmed my car with Hahn's PPC
Got it in the mail today and programmed my car just now. Could not be any easier. Just plug it in, hit enter, and in about 30 secs its programmed.
I took it for a ride and it goes right to about 21 to 22 psi and stays right there in each and every gear!
Even pulled the steering wheel out of my hand when the boost hit in third gear, was not expecting that.
I have no other mods but a k&n drop in.
I did get to play with a Csrt4 while I was out "testing" the car just now. The kid was on a test drive from the dodge dealer local.
I will post that encounter in the war stories area.
Overall I am very pleased with the tuner, did everything Hahn and BSR said it would, easy to install, noticable inprovement, and No boost spikes.

Just an FYI
It says in the owners man with the ppc that due to higher boost levels, to tighten the intercooler piping.
I just got done doing that thinking they would already be pretty tight, boy was I wrong, all of them took quite a few turns.
The one exiting the turbo at the top and the two at the ends of the intercooler core are 11 MM wrentch jobbers and the one right at the TB(you will need to jack the car up and get at that one, is 8mm, which you can get with a socket and rachet.
The 11 mm are screw types, but be careful with the Tb one, it is just a reg hose clamp, and DO NOT overtighten it, as you can very easily strip those kind!
Just a heads up
Louder, not really
Just alot more boost!
Very responsive.

It took me 28 seconds to flash my 2 test cars each.
The car is not really any louder, and either is the boost bypass. It's silly how stock it sounds, and the power is so smooth it doesn't jerk you around when you stomp the gas. Just a little torque steer, but you can muscle through it.

So what other cool things can you do with the PPC? Does it show you the wideband readings or anything like that, or let you make other changes like some of the other scanners do?

I'm still a bit confused on why the car still traps 104's with the tune. Anyone shed some light on this? Why is the Hahn tune giving this extra power/torque but still trapping the 1/4mile with the same trap as my stock SS/TC? (Note: This is not a bashing of the product, I'm just curious)

If I remember Hahn's passes were getting something like 2.090 60 foot times.
You were around 2.2 for your 104 pass Marin.
I believe the quicker 60 foot time would yield a better ET and a slower MPH then a higher 60 ft time.
So if the Hahn kit ran a pass with a 2.2 60ft time his MPH would likely be higher.

Mmm :-P
Also, you should be shifting at redline, and using the NO-lift shift. Any miss, and your mph and time will suffer.

You do have to compare track conditions when comparing et and mph
you can't just compare the times
elevation, humidity, temps, etc
so one person 104 mph may be actually much higher under a diff set of conditions.
like dynos, tracks all vary alot.
From hahn's post
Location: Route 66 Raceway, Joliet Illinois
Elevation: 660 feet
Conditions: 77-84 degrees, high humidity, 2500 feet adjusted altitude
2500 ft adjusted altitude is very high, also high humidity and temps that day.
Take that same run and go to englishtown or atco NJ(sea level) track, and that pass maybe 108mph+ in cooler fall temps.
As far as If I think it is worth the money?
depends on what you plan to do.
I have mine as a DD, so I will not go too crazy, maybe a cai and hahn's intercooler when it comes out, nothing more
so the PPC is good for me
if you plan a turbo swap, etc, you will need it tuned by somebody on a dyno at that point and a canned tune is not what you need to by, spend the 1k on dyno time and tuning at that point.
heck, people spend almost a 1k on a cai and a catback in the honda world and never get a 1/5 of what the PPC gives you, based on the initial dyno numbers
just my 2 cents

i would love to see a dyno, i was thinking about getting this with alot of bolt ons and maybe a 50 shot, hopefully i can see 400 HP, it wont happen for a while though if not, bigger turbo i guess. I know its going to be a while before we see some major mods coming out, I guess I will just wait and see. Some dynos would be nice
