Just tuned my car!!!
All I gotta say is WOW! This car hauls ass, stock it felt like it threw u in the seat and then died off a bit. But now ur stuck in the seat the entire time. Its amazing, I cant wait to take it to the track tomorrow and see what the difference is form stock to my tune.

Its a custom tune, I have HPtuners and finally just recieved the beta version this morning. I upped the boost to 21psi, rickened it up a lil bit and Im startin on advancing the timing tonight. Al ready just with the boost turned up its a huge difference, cant wait to see what the timing does for it!

Im thinkin the tires are gonna be spinning like crazy down the track. Just a 2nd gear pull with the ground slightly wet they didnt stand a chance. Hopefully the track is prepped somewhat. But who am I kidding Quaker sucks

Well we measured out a 1/4 mile on a side street out in the middle of nowhere and did some runs on it. Just to get a basic idea of what we are runnin, tryin to ballpark it. Stock I ran a 14.2, 14.3, 14.5. After my tune I ran a 13.5 and 13.4. Thats without touching the timing, now these are just ballpark runs here there not perfect by anymeans. But my time dropped about a second in the quarter just off of a tune, stock everything with 34psi in all 4 tires. Not too bad if u ask me

Ther are a few people who believe timing does nothing for this car but I have a few dyno sheets to porve otherwise. I gained 10 whp 5 trq on Drewbroo's car on 91 octane by smoothing and adding timing to certain areas and pulling a little in others.

Get an IC too when you can. It really helps keep mine cool in this heat. Once you have your intake, CPs, and IC your car should make a lot more power. That is the beauty of my tune it has a lot of room to grow as you free up more airflow.

Too bad you don't live around me. I don't even know you and you would be one of the few people that I would let touch my car.

If may ask, does it hurt to switch back and forth between 91 and 93? I don't always stop at the same gas station. Some have 91 92 & 93. Just wondering. I'm thinking about getting tuned soon. I don't know if it would affect anything.

I'm currently waiting to get a tune until the stage kit for the TC comes out to remove the learn down feature and until I get a CAI. I mean, if I get a good tune now, wouldn't I have to get it retuned after a CAI and the stage kit, then then a tune wouldn't make sense now.
Also, any thoughts on boost controllers, something where I can plug it in and switch on the fly between maybe 7 and 20 psi depending on the type of driving I want to do...
