K&N SRi - Replacement filter

Hi Eveyone,

i just cleaned and `recharged`K&N filter.

i had alot of white spots so i guess i did not over oil it. i have been flipping it vertically every 20 minutes for the last hour so any oil left soaks properly...

If i do not want to use this filter, what are people replacing it with nowadays?

not worried about STFT and LTFT`s, just looking for a replacement.

thanks.

I'm also interested in this if anyone else has any suggestions for a non-oiled filter. Seems like oil is always causing issues for the MAP.

K&N makes a oilless filter for your intake. I would go with that since it's built for their products.

Iv used oiled filters for 3 years and never once had any issues with any codes or any sensors.

If you try to change your filter without getting re-tuned your car will barely run. Even with being tuned you can see as much as a 10stft difference which you say you don't care about but you will when you can't properly get your car to run right. I've tried this already and the only way I can see a way past it is to have the new ecp tune from trifecta.
