Knife Edged Crank

Building a spare motor. crank i bought separate from the motor so i was just wondering if anyones knife edged the crank on an LNF. Is it worth it?

i would say dnt do it knife edging helps in revving but on lnf u dont have a big rev limit 7200 i think is tops honestly would be a waste of money a decent size turbo and a gud tune you wont have any poblem revving, and to answer the question directly NO, no one has done it on a lnf.

ok. What about a 2.1 has anyone had problems with it? the block im getting has scoring on cylinder 4 so i might have to bore it out. just kinda weighing my options here lol

You don't want to bore a lnf block to 88 mm. Also it was just stated here a few days ago that the crank doesn't touch the oil in the pan.

yea because the way the engine is a cradle, I think it still hits the oil but it doesnt need a knife edged crank
