knock/misfire problem
I am seeing abnormal amounts of knock (7-11*) near redline in 1st gear and frequent misfires on the 1-2 shift whether using NTLS or shifting quickly. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this? The only culprit we can think of is a leak in my stock charge piping, as the plastic tab that holds it on broke off.
Thanks fellas.
Just went out on my break and did some runs on a dead-end road next to my work. It misfires horrendously on the 1-2 shift now. If I run it up to red line in 1st you can feel it pulling timing as well. Strangely, this doesn't happen in any other gear except 1st...
Thanks fellas.

I had about 3-4 degrees of KR and slight misfires in the first 1k miles.
Now with the bigger intercooler I have 0 KR and only small misfires when the car is first warming up. Stock car other than intercooler.
Yeah I thought 3 or 4 was normal, but 7-11 is terrible.

it is his stock tune i saved it. but he was getting like 11* in first gear and it kinda jumped around in other. i think its your intercooler piping because it wasnt doing it before your piping broke so you probably have a small leak. and also at wot his car boost 20psi and drops to like 18psi. but i havnt seen a car knock so bad it was crazy. but you need to take it in asap to see whats going on
